Jack Stevens is an multi instrumental accomplished guitatrist drummer ,Bass player and Native American Flutist Singer, And songwriter.
Jack took up the guitar by ear at an early age, and performed in numerous Rock bands throughout the Upstate New York Area, along the way one of his bands attracted the attention of Crysalis records.
Jack moved to Tucson and performed in a couple of bands in the Tucson area.
In 1998 he met his wife Stephanie Ann Stevens and they formed the duo of Jack and Stephanie. Jack and Stephanie have performed in various venues throughout the Tucson area, and in 1998 started writing songs for their CD "Songs From Eagle Peak" which they released in 2007 of original songs. They gained attention with the CD on various internet radio shows and sales of it began to come in and now in 2011 are working on a second CD Transition", they plan to release this year 2011.
They have released several videos on You Tube. Their music has gained popularity on Facebook with the popular commercial song "The Spirit's Are In At The Shanley Hotel" and others.Stephanie Ann Stevens Music Bio:
Stephanie Ann Stevens is an accomplished multi instumental gifted singer songwriter and musician. Stephanie started piano at age 6 in Boulder Colorado by ear, and moved to lessons and piano recitals. Her family moved to Riverside California after entering a young composers contest at the age of 7 and 8 through the guidance of her piano teacher, she received a certificate for 4 years of study in music. Stephanie began flute lessons at age 13 and later in the style of Ian Anderson attracted attention from an established Christian band Rock Of Salvation .
She performed professionally on piano vocals and flute in the band .
She then formed a trio in the band Lysanius and they performed professionally.
In 1979, Stephanie went to Jackson Hole Wyoming for a two week gig at the Sojourner Inn in the band Jim Comton and Friends A country Western trio.
The band toured throughout Wyoming performing at places like the famous Cowboy bar.
Stephanie was a musical act at the Place Three Resturant as well.
Stephanie moved to Sacramento in 1980 and was hired by EastWind a pop club cover band. Stephanie was a musical act at a piano bar during this time.
In 1982 Stephanie moved to Phx Az, and began performing in church youth groups. From 1986 to 1989 , Stephanie began to establish herself as a well known solo act in the Phx area and regional.She opened for top acts such as the Darell Mansfield band. Stephanie performed at churches Catholic Schools, parks on radio and TV on TBN.
During this time she released several demo tapes , and toured briefly throughout NorthEast Arizona., also performing in California in 1995 Stephanie attracted the attention of MCA records in California. Stephanie continued to perform in various venues throughout Tucson.
In 1998 Stephanie met her husband Jack Stevens and they formed the duo of Jack and Stephanie.
